The peptides and antioxidants in this serum make this serum active, but it is not exfoliating. It can be layered with all other Alamano Skin Care serums. Example: first mandelic or vitamin a, then vitamin c, and lastly beta glucan layered one after the other with moisturizer applied on top.

Tips for Estheticians

This serum is different from other Vitamin C Serums for a few reasons:

 

2 stable forms of Vitamin C: Sodium Ascorbyl Phosphate and 3-O-Ethyl Ascorbic Acid. Most formulas contain an unstable form of vitamin c called L-ascorbic acid, which means it oxidizes easily and when an antioxidant oxidizes it is no longer beneficial and will do harm by sensitizing the skin.

 

Peptides for brightening: Oligopeptide-68 is a potent tyrosinase inhibitor to help lift hyper-pigmentation from sun exposure and acne.

 

Humectants: glycerin, tremella (white mushroom), and white tea extracts carry hydration into the skin and balance the overall formulation.
