Tips from Emily
The key to a thorough cleanse is thoroughly massaging the cleanser into skin for a full minute, then adding a little water or Nutrient Mist to emulsify and massage more. If not all your sunscreen and makeup comes off, follow up with a cotton pad and Nutrient Mist or cleanse again. Keep in mind a good cleanser will not strip the skin and therefore won't "melt" off makeup, it is supposed to take a little effort.
Tips for Estheticians
When using in treatment I apply 2 pumps of Cream Cleanser to the skin, mist with Nutrient Mist, and massage into the skin. This will allow you to get a good slip.
Explain to your clients that Cream Cleansers work differently than foam ones; it will take a little getting used to. This cleanser is amazing for normal-to-dry and sensitive skin types - over time the barrier will strengthen and skin will become more resilient.
Q+A
Q: What is the ph of the Cream Cleanser? I don't see any ph adjusters in the ingredients.
A: For a molecule to have a ph it must be able to be dissolved in water and this product has oils in it so it’s hard to measure accurately since I can’t fully dissolve it. When I have dissolved it as best I can in distilled water and used ph strips, it measures neutral to slightly acidic, around a 6-7 on the ph scale. But don’t be alarmed that it isn’t at that ideal 4.7-5.7 range, keep in mind not everything has a ph and sooo many gentle amazing oil based cleansers are neutral since most oils don’t have a ph.
