CUSTOMIZATION DETAILS

Luxe: Alamano Signature Scent, scented with essential oils only. A blend of Balsam of Peru, Jasmine Attar, Himalayan Cedarwood and Rose. It smells like amber, woodsy, and grounding with a touch of floral, and similar to scent of the Alamano Body Oil.

Rose: scented with essential oils only. A blend of 3 different Rose oils. It is floral but not powdery. 

Rich: a blend of high linoleic sunflower seed oil from France and Vitamin E Oil derived from Sunflowers. This blend makes the cream a little thicker and more nourishing, yet keeps the formulation acne-safe.

My skincare line only has one moisturizer because Calcium Cream is that good, and that versatile. It is lightweight yet super nourishing, and if your clients want or require a heavier cream then you can get it customized "Rich" for an extra dose of high linoleic sunflower seed oil from France and Vitamin E Oil derived from Sunflowers. This blend makes the cream more emollient, yet keeps the formulation acne-safe.

Q: Can you tell me more about the minerals and how they work?

A: Calcium carbonate and zinc sulfate are the minerals responsible for the magic of Calcium Cream.

Calcium Carbonate - when upper epidermal calcium levels increase, it up-regulates cell turnover, which stimulates cell renewal and encourages new cells to come to the surface. In addition to the support it gives aging skin, topical application of calcium enhances skin cancer protection. 

Zinc Sulfate - calms inflammation, aids in wound healing and can minimize scarring by promoting tissue repair, reduces symptoms of rosacea including redness and flushing, soothes symptoms of itching and irritation, and antibacterial properties to manage acne-causing bacteria.

Q: How is the zinc not drying like in other formulations?

A: The Calcium Cream formula isn’t drying due to the form and concentration of zinc. It has zinc sulfate, which works better at lower concentrations whereas within a mineral sunscreen formula the zinc oxide concentration has to be high to get the desired spf.
